Nataliya Kompaniyets Jouri
The soprano Nataliya Kompaniyets - Jouri was born in the Ukraine where she
started her singing studies and later became a post-graduate student at the Royal Northern College of Music
studying under Robert Alderson.
She was made a principal soprano at the Ukraine National Opera House in Kiev where her roles included Tatiana in Eugene Onegin, Lisa in Queen of Spades and the title role in Madame Butterfly . She is now resident in the UK where she has sung many roles including Elisabeth in Don Carlos, Agnes Sorel in Orleanskaya Dyeva.
Highlights this season include singing the role of Lisa in Queen of Spades for Den Norske Opera in Norway and the role of Mother in Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel for Stowe Opera.
