The soprano Ee Ping was
born in Singapore and studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama on the
Opera Course at the Royal Academy of Music. She is now has full UK
residency and full rights to work in the UK and Europe.
Her operatic roles have included: Cio-Cio-San in Madame Butterfly for Mid Wales Opera, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte and Micaela in Carmen for Singapore Lyric Opera, Mimi in La Boheme for British Youth Opera, Rosina in La finta semplice for Buxton Festival Opera, Marguerite in Der Opernball for Clonter Opera and Countess in Marriage of Figaro at the Edinburgh Festival with Palace Opera (2002).
Highlights during 2003 included singing the role of Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte on tour in Ireland with Co-Opera Ireland.
